Our courses are designed for individuals seeking careers in security, hospitality, or related fields, as well as professionals looking to upskill or meet regulatory requirements. Whether you're new to the industry or seeking to renew qualifications, our training is suitable for all levels.
Are your courses accredited?
Yes, all our courses are accredited by recognised awarding bodies, ensuring compliance with UK industry standards, such as those set by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) for Door Supervisor and CCTV training, and relevant bodies for First Aid and Personal Licence courses.
How long do the courses take to complete?
- Door Supervisor/Refresher Training: 6 days for full course including pre-learning. Refresher training 2 days including pre-learning.
- CCTV Operator Training: 3 days.
- First Aid Training: 1–3 days, depending on the level (e.g., Emergency First Aid or First Aid at Work).
- Personal Licence Training: 1 day, followed by an exam.

What are the entry requirements for your courses?
Most courses require participants to be at least 18 years old and have a basic understanding of English. For SIA-related courses (Door Supervisor and CCTV), no prior experience is required, as our training is designed to accommodate beginners and experienced individuals alike.
Where are the courses held?
Our courses are held in our training centre – 47 Broad Street, Bridgeton, Glasgow, G40 2QW. For group bookings of ten people, we can come to you.
How much do the courses cost?

Do you offer job placement assistance after training?
While we don’t guarantee employment, we provide guidance on applying for jobs in the security and hospitality sectors, including CV support and advice on obtaining SIA licences. We also have partnerships with local employers who may seek our trained candidates.
How do I book a course?
You can book directly through our website, by phone, or via email. A deposit is required to secure your place, with the remaining balance due before the course starts. Contact us for booking details or to discuss payment plans.
What happens if I fail the course assessment?
If you don’t pass an assessment, we offer support to help you prepare for a resit. Depending on the course, a small fee may apply for re-examination. Our trainers are committed to ensuring you succeed and will provide additional guidance as needed.
Can I get a refund if I can’t attend a course?
Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy. Generally, we offer full refunds if you cancel within a specified period before the course start date (usually 14 days). Partial refunds or course transfers may be available for cancellations closer to the start date. Contact us for details.
Do you offer corporate or group training?

How do I apply for an SIA licence after completing Door Supervisor or CCTV training?
Upon passing the course, we’ll provide you with a certificate that you can use to apply for an SIA licence through the Security Industry Authority’s online portal. We’ll guide you through the process, including required documentation and fees.
Are there any additional costs beyond the course fees?
Additional costs may include SIA licence application fees (for Door Supervisor and CCTV courses), travel to training venues, or optional study materials. We strive to be transparent about all costs, so please ask for clarification when booking.
How often do I need to renew my qualifications?
- SIA Licences: Door Supervisor and CCTV licences are valid for 3 years and require renewal.
- First Aid: Certificates typically need renewal every 3 years, with a refresher recommended annually.
- Personal Licence: Once obtained, the Personal Licence does not expire, but you must ensure your details remain up to date with the licensing authority.
